We will depart the great and historic harbour of Dún Laoghaire and head on a north easterly course across the bay, passing north of the Burford Bank and over to the impressive Bailey Lighthouse at the tip of Howth peninsula. Along with the beautiful scenery passengers will love watching the thriving colonies of seabirds as they perform their antics off the cliffs of the headland. Rounding the headland the lovely old village of Howth will come into view. We can stop there for a while and perhaps enjoy a wonderful feast of fresh fish and chips. Our route back could take in a trip along the coast of the wildlife reserve at Bull Island.
