Based at the start of the West Pier, Dun Laoghaire, we offer a wide range of boat tours and private charters for our guests, to enjoy our beautiful coastline and islands.
Our boat, the ‘Blue Cicada’, will safely transport our guests to enjoy the half of Dublin less often seen: the stunning coastal scenery, the abundant maritime heritage, diverse wildlife and it’s spacious, refreshing and safe sheltered bay.
Our guests will arrive back ashore having experienced an invigorating and informative few hours, or a full day, on the lovely waters of Dublin Bay.
Dublin Bay is an idyllic setting for scattering ashes at sea. With the serene, magical beauty of the bay, and the lovely backdrop of the Dublin/Wicklow Hills, we can take up to 10 family and friends to pay their respects and lay their loved ones peacefully at sea. Please contact us to discuss your personal requirements.
Blue Cicada is available for taking film and TV companies out to sea to film the stunning Dublin coastline and marine wildlife for documentaries, educational programmes and dramas. We have a large deck space suitable for carrying equipment and personnel. Please contact us to discuss your individual requirements.

Here at Dublin Boat we know how important it is to educate children in marine environment, heritage and water safety. Aboard the Blue Cicada, we can take school parties out to sea for fishing trips and wildlife coastal cruises, and get to see seals, and bird life and perhaps a dolphin or porpoise. They can also try fishing for mackerel or pollock. Please contact us to discuss your individual requirements.
